About

Hey — We're Mia & Noah ✂️

Two makers who turned a messy garage workshop into a creative space — and this website — to help you build things you're proud of.

How Craft Pulse Started

Mia bought a $15 set of chalk paints at a flea market in 2021 and refinished an old nightstand. It turned out… actually amazing. She posted it on Instagram and the DMs flooded in: "How did you do that?" Noah, who had been building shelves and small furniture in their garage for years, suggested they start documenting everything properly. First project: a floating shelf tutorial shot on an iPhone.

That one tutorial got shared thousands of times. People wanted more. Not Pinterest-perfect fantasy projects, but real, achievable DIY — the kind where you can see the process, understand the materials, and actually finish in a weekend. Craft Pulse became that resource: honest, approachable, and built around projects real people can really do.

Meet Mia

Mia is the creative eye of Craft Pulse. She handles the home decor projects, upcycling transformations, paper crafts, and holiday decorations. She has a background in graphic design and brings a strong sense of color, composition, and styling to every project. She's the reason Craft Pulse projects look polished but not intimidating. When she's not crafting, she's thrifting for project materials, rearranging rooms "for fun," or binge-watching home renovation shows with a hot glue gun in hand.

Meet Noah

Noah handles the woodworking, hardware projects, and anything involving a power tool. He's a self-taught builder who learned from YouTube, failures, and a lot of sanded-down mistakes. His goal is to prove that woodworking doesn't require a $10,000 shop — most of his projects use basic tools and lumber from the hardware store. He writes the tutorials, builds the project plans, and films the build process. Off-duty, he coaches a youth robotics team and collects vintage hand tools.

What We Believe

  • Imperfect is beautiful. Handmade means handmade. We celebrate the wobbles, the brush strokes, and the character that comes from making something yourself.
  • Anyone can make things. You don't need talent or experience. You need instructions, materials, and a couple of free hours.
  • Budget over bougie. We prove that gorgeous home decor and thoughtful gifts don't need to come from expensive stores.
  • Sustainability matters. Upcycling, repurposing, and using what you have is woven into everything we do.

Outside the Workshop

Mia and Noah live in Nashville, Tennessee, in a 1960s ranch house that doubles as their permanent project. Every room has been touched by at least one Craft Pulse tutorial. They spend weekends at flea markets, estate sales, and the local salvage yard. They also run free DIY workshops at their community center once a month, teaching basic skills like painting furniture and building simple shelves.
